Blending the tripped out psychedelic sound of bands like The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Crazy Horse with the pop sensibilities and folk leanings, K2B's live shows have been described as everything from an acid infused hippie rock explosion to a laid back wander through landscapes of folky guitars, sitars and cellos.
Having had to deal with bassist Joe Berben being attackied by a bear onstage at The Gaelic as well as tambourine wielding hordes bumrushing the stage, it seems little if anythiong can distract the band from delivering a racous live show.
They've played across venues such as the Hopetoun and The Gaelic as well has having headlined both the Music feeds Festival in october last year and the Music Feeds East Coast Bus Tour in January of this year. Their debut album, Better Plan, was produced by Shane Fahey (The Fumes, The Cruel Sea, Midnight Oil) at Megaphon Studios and displays not only the bands chops in musical terms but also their ability to distill their wandering live jams down into succinct and poppy arrangememnts that in no way lose the energy of the live performance.
